Documents can be written again if you lose them, but there isn't much you can redo if you lose one or more photos, apart from using a specialized application to recover them, if you've stored them in a digital format. myPhoto Recovery makes this process as easy as possible, even to users who don't know much about computers and how they work. The software guides you all the way with step-by-step instructions, so you don't have to do any guesswork. You can get your precious photos back with little to no effort.

The application is free to try, but with a minor functionality limitation. Its setup file is just over 20 MB, so you won't spend too much time downloading and installing its components. You can use the software on any modern Windows system, without having to install any special tools or services.

myPhoto Recovery is capable of finding lost or deleted photos on your local drives and on external drives as well, like USB sticks or SD memory cards. Additionally, the software can look for deleted photos inside ISO virtual image files. You can choose what type of media to scan the moment you launch the software. Detected external, logical and internal drives, as well as disk images, are neatly organized in separate categories, which you can access via navigation tabs, on the left side of the software's clean and simple user interface.

The software walks you through the entire recovery process just like a wizard. Once you've selected a device, you can start scanning right away. The process may take some time, especially if the target device has a high storage capacity. However, the software can make the process a bit faster by creating and scanning an image of that device. It presents this possibility right before you start scanning and you can carry it out by simply clicking one button.

When the application is done scanning, the found pictures will be displayed on the same interface, where you can filter them by folder, date and camera model. At this point, you only need to select one or more pictures, by ticking their checkboxes, and click a Save button, in the lower-right corner of the main window. The software presents several options for where to store the recovered pictures, but you can also browse for a folder manually.

With myPhoto Recovery at your side, you can get back your precious photos in just a few simple steps.

Pros

The recovery process is straightforward and easy. The software is capable of recovering photos from any storage device. It has a simple and efficient user interface, with easy-to-master controls.

Cons

The trial version doesn't recover photos larger than 768 KB.
